AES SD Card 

 

TCND's AES SD Card provides application and flash specific firmware to satisfy industrial requirements.

 It is designed with high reliability Flash Management to support superior wear leveling, Read Retry, Read Disturb management and sudden power off managements.

It has a flexibla ECC engine and optimizes high performance on-the-fly AES Encryption engine.

 It is fully compliant to SD 3.0(UHS-I), SD 2.0.

Host Transfer rates up to 104MB/s in SD 3.0 SDR104 Mode.

4K Random write IOPS is reached to Max 60.

It also support the Smart Tool 

 

• AES Hardware Feature

  • ECB(Electronic codebook)

  • XTS(XEX-based tweaked-codebook mode, no Cipertext stealing)

  • CBC(Cipher-block chaning)

  • OFB(Output Feedback)

  • CFB(Cipher Feedback)

  • CTR(Counter, Counter Mode, Integer Counter Mode, Segmented Integer Counter Mode)

 

• Secure Hash Algorithms : SHA1 function and SHA256 function

  • compute the SHA1 and SHa256 hash for data blocks

 

• Random Number Generator

  • Cryptographically secure random number generator within the AES unit

  • Obtains a random value that can be used as a key with a certain length

  • Key Value can be stored in NAND Flash

• Key and Key Management

  • Default Key(DK)

    • Used by default. all data are encrypted using a default key.

    • Never will un-encrypted data be stored in the NAND.

  • Device Spefic Master key(DSK)

    • Each individual SD Card has a unique DSK. 

    • Not enabled by default but can be enabled with a custom FW.

  • Derivative Device Specif master Key(DDSK)

    • Derivative of DSK

    • can be stored on NAND

  • Customer key(CK)

    • Based On DDSK with or without external "seed"

  • Smart IC Connected to ISO7816

    • Authenticate any host communication
