SLC Lite microSD/SD

SLC Lite can be considered as an extended version of MLC. While MLC contains fast and slow pages, SLC Lite only applies fast pages for programming. The concept of SLC Lite is domonstrated in the tables. The first and second bits of a memory cell represents a fast and slow page respectively, as shown in the left table. Since only fast pages are programmed when applying SLC Lite, the bits highlighted in red are used. Accordingly, because only fast pages are used, SLC Lite provides better performance and endurance than MLC.
