TCND SD WORM Card Release
TCND SD WORM (Write Once Read Many) Cards provide storage data protection by write once and prevent the data be erased, modified or overridden. This write protection affords the assurance that the data cannot be tampered with once it is written to the device.
WORM function is utilized for records protection within Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Exchange Commission, special application devices and so on.
TCND SD WORM Cards implement the 9-pin SD Card interface and support a maximum operating frequency of 208 MHz and an operating voltage range of 2.7 – 3.6V.
Limitation and Condition
1. Support Flash: SanDisk MLC NAND 1Znm 64Gbit, 128Gbit (8GB~32GB)
2. Card/Disk Format and Parameter defined by TCND
3. Card Default: WORM Mode
4. Support SD card Format: FAT32 Only
5. Write Performance is lower by 50% as comparing with the normal card
6. As writing files, it must follow "one by one" principle; that is, a file writing must
be finished completely first before start another one.
7. The "Data Clusters" of the File must be written sequentially.
8. Only support Non-CPRM(SD6.1)
9. Do not support Erase/Lock/Unlock SD commands
